The following organizations have teamed up and pooled resources
in support of project manager Sipho Moumakwe to ensure that the
crèche is a sustainable and successful project.
Steuart Pennington CEO of South Africa – The Good News (Pty)
Ltd “adopted” the crèche eight months ago in May 2005 and has
been working hard to get sponsors for this project to improve
the creche and the lives of those children who attend
it.
A medium sized IT company is South Africa was introduced to
DNCC by Steuart Pennington and has taken the DNCC project under
their wing as part of their Corporate Social Investment
responsibility to the community. Paul Jules MD of DigiPoS
Systems has been working closely with local government and
Department of Social Welfare to secure land for the eventual
building of a new Creche in the
community.
Wesbank have agreed to make funds available for the DNCC
project for a period of 2 years. These funds will be used to
improve the immediate needs of the children as well as the long
terms goals of the Creche. A 2yr ePaP feeding program
sponsorship forms part of this
donation.
