Our staff consists of 14 permanent staff and a number of dedicated volunteers recruited from the various Doornkop Township Extensions.  Mothers who have the love of children and their community at heart.  The volunteers are aware that the organisation cannot offer remuneration at this stage and are prepared to continue offering their services.
Doornkop Needy Children’s Centre registered as a Non Profit Organisation on the 17th March 2003 and the registration number is as follows: 025093 N.P.O.

Currently  the 14 permanent staff are paid a very modest monthly stipend ranging from R1000.00 (USD 156) for the Principal to R400.00 (USD 62.5) for the Mistresses , it is our hope that we will increase these amounts as the crèche becomes better funded. It is also our intention to provide the volunteers with weekly food hampers to alleviate their desperate circumstances.
